Edumark To Host The 10th Edition Of ‘‘We Are The Future Of Our Nation’’ (WATFON).

‘Raising up children in the ways they should go’ is an injunction in the Holy Book which is being strictly followed and abided with by Nigeria’s foremost educational firm, Edumark Nigeria, a company committed to raising role models among young people of different ages through programmes geared towards changing their mindsets and re-orientating them to believing in Nigeria.

As it’s customary to them at Edumark, the drums would be rolled out again this year to mark the 10th edition of her programme, WATFON, which is an event created to mentor students by major role models in the society and this edition will hold on the 3rd of March, 2016 with more than 3000 final year secondary school students in attendance.

With the theme ‘‘I BELIEVE IN NIGERIA’’, the event is expected to be a celebration of great expectation and hope on the future of our dear country, Nigeria.

Biola Aroyehun, who is the coordinator of the project stated in a statement made available to www.preciouseze.blogspot.com that instilling a positive believe in one’s country especially within the youthful population should be embraced by all.

“As a nation, she says, there is no denying the fact that we have many issues that need to be corrected, but it is important that we continue to hold onto positive outlook for this country, explaining that the passion that has kept the program running for 10 years has been the undying drive by the team at Edumark and all WATFON role models to build a future whose leaders are nurtured with the right values.

Mrs Aroyehun, pointed out that some eminent personalities who have positively affected the Nigerian youth would be honoured by the WATFON class of 2016, which should send the right signals to everyone to emulate them in values and personal attributes.

The very first edition of WATFON was chaired by the late Sir Gamaleil Onosode and the program has over the years, attracted other great leaders such as: General Yakubu Gowon, Sir Emeka Anyaoku, Emeritus Professor J. P. Clark, Chief Folake Solanke (SAN), Chief Ayo Adebanjo, Professor Akin Oyebode, Chief Ayo Oni etc.

WATFON 2016 would feature performances in: dance, drama, poetry, music and inspirational talks from the role models.
