The news of the death of the son of the former Chairman of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Mr. Bilyaminu Bello Halliru came to many people as a rude shock, especially when it was alleged that his very beautiful wife killed him by stabbing him with a broken bottle several times before he died.
Now, the lady in question has been arraigned in a High Court in Abuja and then granted bail because, according to the prosecution counsel, she is nursing a young child and she never put that child and the father of that child into consideration when she was stabbing to death, the father of that same child?
I don't understand it.
She will enjoy her freedom now so long as she is still nursing the child and if by mistake she gets pregnant by another man within the period of nursing her young child, her freedom continues?
Is this what our laws are made of?
I weep for that man.
