In a statement signed by his younger brother, His Royal Majesty, Prof Laz Ekwueme says that the family regrets to announce the death of their patriarch and former vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Alex Ifeanyichukwu Ekwueme, GCON.
The sad news event, according to Prof Laz Ekwueme occurred at 10pm on Sunday in a London hospital where he was flown by the Federal Government for medical treatment.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
