In recent times, little or nothing has been heard about Nollywood crying queen, Nkiru Sylvanus and her former (or still present) boss, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, the Governor of Imo State, who gave her the very best of platforms to excel outside Nollywood.


It was rumoured that Nkiru was at loggerheads with the wife of the Governor, Nneoma Okorocha who was said to have asked that all affiliations between her husband and the actor be cut off or else, she would deal with her.

As at the time this was going on, Nkiru was the Liaison officer of Imo State in Lagos, later redeployed to Owerri the state capital to be Special Assistant of Public Affairs and after the first tenure of the governor, made Director General of the Imo State Council of Arts and Culture.

The tension the relationship between the duo generated in Imo State and in the home of the first family of the state was too much that their individual names became verses of songs around social circle in the state but in recent times, Nkiru Sylvanus seem to have either taken a back seat or have quietly been removed from office.

Be this as it may, the fact that there is no intruition in the home of Owelle Rochas Okorocha and wife, Nneoma, is a welcomed development and we wish this continues.
