| Late Deji Tinubu. |
There
are reports that the former Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on
Sports, Deji Tinubu has just died.
Reports
have it that Deji who is in his late
40s, died on Thursday night after he slumped while playing football somewhere
in Epe.
He
was said to have been rushed to General Hospital, Epe where he was confirmed
dead.
Deji
Tinubu was said not to have shown any sign of sickness as he had attended the
ongoing Excos and Permanent Secretaries Retreat earlier in the day, before
retiring to join his friends at the football pitch where he eventually died.
A
former Chairman of the Lagos State Sports Commission, later Special Adviser on Commerce,
Deji is a nephew of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu younger brother to Wale Tinubu, the
CEO of Oando Plc.
