Chike Okafor Revitalizes Primary Healthcare Centres In Imo State.

Member representing Ehime-Mbano, Ihitte-Uboma and Obowo Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Chike Okafor, has taken the bull by the horn to see that health facilities in Imo State are given not only a face-lift, but are revamped for better performance geared towards the provision of quality healthcare for Imo people.

A selection was made recently where some health facilities were chosen as role model centres to spearhead the revitalization he is bringing to the state, even as the contract for their immediate takeoff have been awarded.

It is therefore worthy of note that out of the over 100 Primary Healthcare centers initially captured in the exercise, the below mentioned are the ones which budgetary provisions has been made for in the 2017 budget as others will be captured in the 2018 budget to allow for spread.

It is important to note that the contracts are usually awarded after the facility tour and mapping by the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency.

Hon. Chike Okafor therefore calls on all residents of Imo State, including Traditional rulers, community leaders, town unions, party leaders to help monitor the progress on these projects to ensure that work is going on in considerable pace, and in the best of standards.
