The family of the emperor governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha are gradually sweeping clean the treasury of the state in other to settle themselves for life and this is evident in the way and manner their business concerns are springing up here and there in and outside the state.


Latest in the news is the launch of "The Reach TV and Reach 104.7 FM owned by the first daughter of Rochas Okorocha, Uloma Nwosu whose husband is Chief of Staff/Commissioner for Lands and Rochas's acclaimed successor as governor of Imo State. GOD FORBID.

I have been a constant user of the state owned TV and Radio stations, Orient FM and Orient TV and I have noticed that not a single kobo has been invested in the upgrade of facilities or anything for that matter to give the stations a face-lift since Rochas became governor, which is meant to kill the state's broadcast platform while paving way for the launch of what is known today as The Reach TV and FM.

Well, one-thing is certain, even if Rochas succeeds in making Uche Nwosu the governor of Imo State, there are no guarantees that he will be loyal to him forever, example of which is his secret second marriage that has remained a shocker to the family till today.

Gradually, Rochas Okorocha's tenure as governor of Imo State is winding up and soon, tables will turn and we shall know if all these monies stolen from Ndi-Imo will save him.
