AUDIO VISUAL RIGHTS SOCIETY (AVRS) MOURN NOLLYWOOD ACTOR, AISHAT ABIMBOLA.

Following the shocking death of popular Nollywood actor Aishat Abimbola who was reported to have died in the early hour of Wednesday 16 May in faraway Canada,  the board and management of Audio Visual Rights Society (AVRS), the sole collective management organization (CMO) for cinematograph films in Nigeria has express their profound condolence to the family of the deceased and the entire Nigerian movie industry.


In a condolence letter dated May 16th, 2018, the General Manager/CEO of AVRS, Olubunmi Fawole stated that Aisha also known as “Omoge Campus” will be missed going by her active involvement in creating awareness and helping the entire industry to get involved in AVRS activities.
“The entire Board and Management of Audio Visual Right Society of Nigeria (AVRS) hereby wish to express our condolence to the entire executive and members of TAMPAN, YOVIPMAN and the Nigerian Movie Industry at large on the demise of Aishat Abimbola, who was until her death a member of AVRS and who actively took part in our users’ awareness programs”.

The chairman of AVRS, Mr. Bond Emeruwa added that the entire society and the industry at large will miss her; as according to him, “We know this is a sad, and an emotional moment for the movie industry.

We pray that God grants the members, friends and family the fortitude to bear the loss”.
