The attention of Sir Marc Wabara Support Group has been drawn
to the desperation of some professional politicians in Abia State who are
poised to discredit their mentor and political leader, former Chief Executive
Officer of the now defunct Hallmark Bank Plc, Sir Marc Wabara who is contesting
in 2019 to represent the people of Abia South Senatorial district in the
Senate.
According to the group, “As expected, we have noticed that
these politicians have continued with their stock in trade which is characterized
by smear campaigns, as they have used every means at their disposal to
discredit Sir Wabara, whom they have accused of either seeking automatic ticket
from the party, or that he is against the newly invented direct primaries of
the APC”.
We reiterate therefore, the group says, that no amount of
blackmail will deter our leader from his determination to serve the good people
of Abia State and the nation as a senator of the federal republic of Nigeria
come 2019. Our leader remains resolute in trusting God, knowing that He will
frustrate the devises of the crafty so that their hands cannot accomplish their
enterprise.
