LAGOS 2019": Akinwunmi Ambode Fighting A Lost Battle As 36 Assembly Members Endorse Babajide Sanwoolu For Governor.

It is no longer news that all is not well in the political camp in Lagos as the battle to take over Lagos State come 2019 is getting fiercer by the day as endorsements are flying everywhere in support of the preferred candidate of the All Progressives Congress and party members in Lagos, Babajide Sanwoolu.


The most recent one is the endorsement by 36 members of the Lagos State House of Assembly, including the Speaker, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa. whom with others pushed forth their support for the candidacy of Mr. Sanwoolu.

These members are evidently those at the grassroots and have a say in what happens at the state level when choosing a candidate is concerned and they will galvanize the support Sanwoolu needs to become the candidate of the APC in Lagos.

So, the incidence by the governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode not to step down from the race, but to contest with other for the party's ticket may have suffered a setback even as another aspirant for the ticket and former Commissioner, Femi Hamzat has stepped down to pave way for Sanwoolu.
