The leadership of the National Assembly has postponed resumption of plenary earlier scheduled for Tuesday, the 25th September to Tuesday 9th October due to the activities of the primaries of the political parties across the country.

According to a statement by the Clerk to the National Assembly yesterday, M.A Sani-Omolori, all distinguished senators and honourable members are expected to resume plenary session by 10 am on the 9th of October.

This delay is to make sure that members of the National Assembly who wish to return and had picked tickets of various political parties are allowed to do so and then, take part in the primaries of the parties before resuming.
