The President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, PMAN, Mr. Pretty Okafor has been appointed by the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo as Member, Federal Government Technology and Creativity Adversary Board.

 

In his appreciation message, PMAN President, Pretty Okafor says, ‘’I Thank the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo for recognizing and appointing me as PMAN president into  the Federal Government Technology and Creativity Advisory Board and am glad to be associated with such an initiative’’.

Furthermore he says, ‘’This is a step in the right direction for both the Federal Government and the entire creative industry inclusive of musicians, film and movie industry, fashion industry, literary industry, virtual arts and sculpture, crafts industry, comedy industry amongst others’’.

It is also coming at such a time, Pretty Okafor says, when more organizations in recognition of the potentials that Nigeria has in music and other creative resources are seeking to export Nigeria Music through the MUSIC EXPORT NIGERIA (NEXM) initiative by Inspiro Productions and others.
