The
pursuit for the political soul of the Lagos East Senatorial District is
gradually finding a resting place as results from the primaries conducted today
are trickling in and with what we are seeing, it is clear that the preferred
aspirant for the seat, Hon. Bayo Osinowo is leading with very wild merging.
The
campaign of calumny by those loyal to Gbenga Ashafa got to its crescendo when a
day before the stipulated date for the primaries, they started pushing fake
news, including videos showing that Ashafa had won an election that yet to hold
and some of us imagined what desperation could do to people whose failures are
as white as scarlet.
These
are some of the results that has come in so far and with what we are seeing;
Adebayo Sikiru Osinowo will be the candidate of the APC for the Lagos East
Senatorial District.
