SHEHU SANI vrs MALLAM EL'RUFAI: Whoever Told Senator Shehu Sani That President Buhari Nor Adams Oshiomhole Could Help Him Deceived Him Big Time.

Shehu Sani, El'Rufai and Oshiomhole.
The Senator representing Kaduna Central in the senate, Senator Shehu Sani has finally quit the All Progressives Congress, APC after what looked like a waiting game on his part as he waited for the President, Muhammadu Buhari and the National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole to push the hands of his state governor, Mallam Nasir El'Rufai who was hell-bent of making sure he doesn't return to the senate chambers come 2019, especially not on the platform of the APC.

The fight between these two was so tough that when other senators led by Senate President, Bukola Saraki decided to join the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Shehu Sani was amongst the few APC senators called to a meeting at the presidential villa to pacify them to remain, as the party promised, through the National Chairman that he was gonna make sure he gets an automatic ticket to return to the senate, but that is not to be anymore as his state governor made sure he never achieved that during the primaries of the party to select who the senator for Kaduna Central is, won by another Sani, UBA.

Now, the twist is that the structure of the party in the states have been given or solely left in the hands of state governors and regardless of what the National Chairman nor even the party want, the governor will still have his way, as is the case in Imo State where Rochas Okorocha has sooo manipulated the party so much so that the APC in Imo State has become a branch of Rochas Okorocha foundation.

So, the President and Adams Oshiomole made Shehu Sani, who had concluded plans to jettison the APC with Saraki and co, a promise that he was going to get the return ticket, but his worst enemy, his state governor was't having any of such and therefore made sure he worked against him to the fullest till he lost out completely.

What you have now is a man leaving the party with shame, an action he was to take a few weeks back, but being chicken hearted, stayed back and now, he has no choice than to quit, but to where, as the INEC's timetable for the submission of candidates for all parties has elapsed and even if he joins the PDP tomorrow, he can't get a party's flag to fly, meaning that this was a deliberate act to deny him completely the chance of making it back to the senate with promises that will make him stay with the party till the timeframe works against him as is the case.

What next for Shehu Sani you might ask?
Well, he would have to serve out his time in the senate and then wait for the PDP to win the presidency and then, give him a position in the new government.

This is actually what politics is about in Nigeria and Shehu Sani is a living example of how not to play politics here.
