“Teachers Appreciation Day”, A "Concerned Parents and Educators Initiatives" Way Of Given Teachers Their Reward On Earth.

Teaching is one profession that has remained unrewarding over the years, though a lot of people are trying these days to uplift the ideals and values of the profession that allows every human being pass through it as Concerned Parents and Educators Initiative, a non Governmental Organization, NGO, will this Saturday, October 20, 2018, hold an event tagged, “Special Appreciation Day for Teachers”.


Speaking on the event, founder of the NGO, Mrs. Yinka Ogunde, said that teachers form the bedrock of education reform.

“We cannot talk about reforming the education sector without looking into the welfare of teachers, their training and remuneration and “It is important that government, parents and the society realize that our education sector cannot progress beyond the level of our teaching force.”

Furthermore, Mrs Ogunde said, our teacher’s appreciation day had been designed to encourage and inspire teachers and to demonstrate how valuable they are to the society, with over 500 teachers expected from both the public and private schools at the event.
