Former National
Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Olisa Metuh has
alleged that the former National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives
Congress, APC, Chief John Oyegun had three days before his trial began in
court.
This
he said while being led in the dock by his sounsel, Onyecki Ikpeazu and had told
the Court that he had been publicly threatened by John Oyegun then Chairman of
the All Progressives Congress, APC.
He
said: “Three days to my arrest, I was publicly threatened by John Oyegun for my
criticism of the current administration.
Chief
Olisa Metuh is standing trial alongside Destra Investment Limited for an
alleged N400 million fraud involving the Office of the former National Security
Adviser, had also lamented that his bank accounts had been seized by the EFCC,
with “all my investments at the ARM, the institution I have invested in for the
past 14 o 15 years, have all been seized, including all my life savings"
