SO, THIS FIGHT HAS BEEN BETWEEN ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU & ROCHAS OKOROCHA ALL THIS WHILE?

‘’’’’’’’’’GOVERNOR OKOROCHA HAS RESISTED ATTEMPTS BY A LAGOS MAFIA TO ENCROACH INTO IGBOLAND’’’’’’’’’.

Written by Jones Fcc Onwuasoanya, factional Publicity Secretary for a faction of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Imo State.

A major sin of Governor Rochas Okorocha for which a group of oligarchs and imperialists has declared total war on him is that he has stubbornly resisted the attempt by some Mafia from Lagos to annex Igboland just like they have annexed the entire Southwest, parts of South South and North Central.

This Mafia would have been Governor Okorocha's best allies if he conceded to their plans to colonize Igboland. This colonization would have entailed directing the economic affairs of the Southeast from Bourdillon, deciding the political fate of the Igbos from Ikeja and even deciding how the allocations accruing to all the States in the Southeast are shared from a sitting room in Lagos. This would be a political slavery worst than the one suffered by Igbos from 1967 till lately.

The plot to emasculate Okorocha politically did not start today, but a long time before he even won his second term in office. Governor Okorocha should have been an equal stakeholder in the APC leadership with every other founding father of the Party, except, President Muhammadu Buhari, who by virtue of his position as the President of the country is the undisputed National leader of the Party, but the Lagos Mafia has taken up that title for themselves. This is the first time in Nigeria's Fourth Republic that a Party chieftain who holds no political office is being addressed as 'the' National Leader of the Party, not even as 'a' National leader of the Party. By that appellation, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has positioned himself in the hearts of the public as the most important leader in the APC, even beyond the President. President Buhari is not complaining and will not complain because he is a different kind of political leader. He doesn't seem to care much about titles and even political struggles. He is more interested in delivering on his promises to Nigerians as the President than struggling for Party leadership. It must however be stated that the President has to care. The President is the only National leader of the Party.

Governor Rochas Okorocha by his position and contributions to the formation and successes of the APC is undoubtedly a national leader of the Party and deserves as much respect as the former governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It is dangerous to think that the Igbos are less politically relevant than the Yorubas, hence, the attempt to reduce them to a colony governed, indirectly, by a Lagos based Mafia.

I do not expect the loudest applause for this expose`. Within days, some hungry efulefus from Igboland will run to Bourdillon or Ikeja to apologise or even take up pages in newspapers to denounce this. There is yet nothing to denounce, I shall give such sellouts more work in the coming days and weeks as I have chosen not to keep quiet any longer. If someone's ambition is to put the entire Nigeria into his pocket, the same way he has put Lagos State into his pocket, then, he should leave the Southeast out of that plan.

MY OPINION!
I remember I wrote that sometime back when Rochas Okorocha organized Chairmen of all the APC State Chapters against the National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole.

Is the truth not out now by those who should know?

Distinguished Senator Ojudu Babafemi Sir, recall what I told you about this man called Rochas Okorocha the last time I was in your office sir??
