As
the time for the purchase of party forms approached in 2014/15, news broke that
the Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha was vying for the highest
position in the land, the Presidency and some of us shouted, ‘’WOW’’, as I had
never heard that a serving governor who had just stayed THREE YEARS would
relinquish his office to go seek to be president.

MAN IS WHOM ROCHAS OKOROCHA IS I SWEAR.
Before
we knew what was happening, the news we got again was that this same son Inlaw
of his, UCHE NWOSU had won the party’s ticket to be governor after Rochas
Okorocha, not knowing that that was a DECEPTIVE MOVE by Rochas to safeguard his
position by giving the ticket to the only person he felt would hold it in trust
for him, peradventure he didn’t come out with the Presidential Ticket.
HOW
ROCHAS FELT HE WOULD WIN THE APC PRESIDENTIAL TICKET ABOVE AN ATIKU ABUBAKAR,
MUHAMMADU BUHARI AND RABIU KWAKWANSO STILL BAFFLES ME.
He
came to Lagos where that Presidential primaries took place and he failed,
infact, we heard that immediately it became obvious that he won’t even smell a
third position, he abandoned everyone in Lagos and went straight to Owerri, the
Imo State capital to go collect back what he gave to his son Inlaw before the
young man becomes very ambitious like him and chances his mind.
He
got to Owerri, collected back the ticket of the party for the office of
Governor and next morning, the entire city was flooded with posters of him
contesting for governor under APC, a situation that shocked a few people who
didn’t understand the Maradona style he played on them, as he had always done.
So,
Rochas Okorocha and his son Inlaw, Uche Nwosu did not start taking Ndi-Imo for
granted today, but we weren’t ready to have any of such treatment and now,
their wings has been broken totally.
What
Rochas did in 2014/15 was to show us the sign of what he would do in 2018,
while assuring people like his deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere of his
intention to reward his complete loyalty and friendship with making him Governor,
and then, would turn around to MOCK him behind with what Igbo people call,
‘’OCHI EZE’’.
I
have never seen any politician living or dead with such prowess in
‘’CRAFTINESS, DECEIT, CUNNING as to deceive everyone and everybody including
those who had worked with him since TIME IMO RIVER.
What
baffles me now is that majority of those who wrote against him then are now the
people singing, dancing and clapping his praise in support of his recent
display of TRADITIONAL RULERSHIP in Imo State after being bought with money to
be on his side.
I’m
very grateful therefore that GOD FAILED ALL OF THEM, but shamefully, that they
still find the fingers to type trash on Facebook is still a shock to me.
They
thought God was asleep or in deep slumber, not to hear the cries, wailing's,
gnashing of teeth and anguish of NDI-IMO and like he did to Pharaoh of Egypt,
THE RED SEA HAS SWALLOWED ROCHAS OKOROCHA AND HIS COHORTS up.
Yes,
his end is gradually beckoning and sooner or later, we shall hear about him NO
MORE.
