The Lagos State Commissioner for Minerals and Energy Resources, Olawale Wasiu Oluwo, has resigned his appointment from the State's Executive Council, and has also resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos.

| The Resignation Letter. |
In a resignation letter he sent to the Chairman of the APC in Lagos, Mr. Olawale Oluwo said alot of things, including the fact that the atmosphere negates the tenets of separation of powers in the state.
According to him, "I am convinced that the present atmosphere of encirclement will not abate anytime soon. I therefore resign my membership of the All Progressives Congress, immediately.
