The candidate of the United Democratic Party, UDP in the forthcoming governorship election in Lagos State, Mazi Sam Anyamele has said that he will defeat the APC and PDP candidates, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Jimi Agbaje respectively as well as any other candidate for the job in any debate on how Lagosians will get the desired dividends of democracy.

Speaking yesterday at his Isolo, Lagos campaign office,  the UDP Lagos flag bearer, Sam Uche Anyamele said “The Lagos you deserve begins with you and I am the best person to deliver it to you”

According to him, “SanwoOlu and Jimi Agbaje” should stop seeing themselves as the biggest and best contenders in the race to better Lagos because, I am out to challenge them to a debate and I know I will dust them on how the two major parties have failed Nigerians since 1999.

“With my running mate, Iyabo Nurat Bello, we have brought a new lease of life for Lagos residents better than others have to offer. We are the most credible alternative. I want all Lagosians to join us in spelling Lagos together in terms of credible Leadership, financial Accountability, Grassroots focused performance, numerous Opportunities for all with Security guaranteed and I strongly believe we can”

He continued: “The Lagos of my dream is where all residents irrespective of religion, tribe, age and gender have a voice and “My Vision is to lead in restructuring and building self-sustained inclusive Lagos State where the views, dreams, aspirations and concerns of both Lagosians and non-indigenes are the drivers of policies and programs and not the interest of few political elites.

"I was born here at Isolo Health Centre, now Isolo General Hospital and really envision a Lagos State where the potentials and professional insights of Lagos inhabitants will be systematically maximized to position the State among the top 5 states to live and carry out business activities in the world.

Concluding, Dr. Sam Uche Anyamele says, “The Inclusive Lagos State under my leadership will drive innovation enough to multiply the current Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) without over loading Lagos State residents with multiple taxations, permits and levies”.

Mazi Dr. Sam Uche Anyamele is an indigene is a Lagos, having been born, bread and buttered in Lagos, but has his ancestral origin from Abia Srare. At 36 years of age, he is seen as the youngest in the race for the Alausa House as Governor.
