The
candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the Lagos State House of
Assembly election representing Kosofe Constituency 1 has made it clear that his
desire for his people is to further bring emancipation in all ramifications,
taking the baton from where his predecessor would stop after the elections.
According
to OKLA, as he is popularly called, “What I intend to bring to the table is not
just my academic and professional proficiency, in view of my status as a
grass-roots oriented personality, deeply fore-grounded in the Kosofe politics
and widely experienced in official capacities that cut across the local and
state levels of politics and actual governance, and having served as the
Secretary to Kosofe Local Government between 2004 and 2007 amidst numerous
other offices, I have since undergone higher and more challenging leadership
orientation, training, exposure and experience in my present office as Special
Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Food Security”.
I
have a track record of performance and my people know this, he says, and I won’t
bring down the quality of my personality, not yesterday, not today and not even
tomorrow because I have a future in politics.
