HOW POLITICS IS PLAYED IN THE ‘’LAGOS EAST SENATORIAL DISTRICT’’ OF LAGOS STATE!!

Sen. Gbenga Ashafa & Hon. Bayo Osinowo.

The pictures here attached have prominently place the two gladiators from the LAGOS EAST SENATORIAL DISTRICT, Senator Olugbenga Ashafa, the Senator Representing the District at the Senator with his brother, Hon. Bayo Osinowo, the incoming Senator for the Lagos East Senatorial District as Role Models of our time.

The duo were seen yesterday at the Palace of the Oba of Oworonshoki, Lagos when the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo visited the Palace of the Oba with the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Lagos, Rt. Hon. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

For the records, the two men slugged it out at the primaries that produced Bayo Osinowo as candidate and with what happened during that period, one would expect the two of them to be stack enemies, with each avoiding another at events, but no way, they are extremely very mature politicians, whose only desire is the people, so, why be enemies?

Infact, they refer to themselves as brothers, but their individual supporters wouldn’t have any of that, especially from a particular camp but, the primaries have been won and lost, now is the time to work for the good of both the party and the people.

And like DrJoe Okei Odumakin said recently, no politician is worth the blood of anyone, especially during this election period.

The major question here is, ‘’WHY FIGHT THE BATTLE FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS ALREADY RECONCILED WITH HIS BROTHER’’?

Senator Gbenga Ashafa and Honourable Bayo Osinowo has all moved beyond what transpired during that primary and are breaking new grounds politically, so, why still remain in the past when the person you are supposedly fighting for has moved on to do other things?

Let’s learn to end the fight when it is necessary and allow these politicians fight their battles with their opponents, who might at the end of day, be there brothers without you knowing.

These two are fantastic men who know how to play the kind of politics that melts the heart of even the strongest of hearts around and this is what we want here.
