BEAUTY, BRAIN AND POLITICAL PARTICIPATION OF A WOMAN LIKE NATASHA AKPOTI.

I have a lady broadcaster friend and sister, one of the most beautiful faces on Nigerian Television today, who was victimized not because she wasn’t good at her job, infact, she is one of the very best on what she does, but the snag was her beauty.

So beautiful is this lady that she became the brightest face on the Stations News and then, jealousy came calling, led to gossips, name calling, backbiting, backstabbing till they accused her of being sooooooo beautiful that the viewers of being distracting to the viewers of the station and then, she stopped casting news. LOL.

It only took the intervention of a former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who missed seeing her read news to make her return.

Truth is, I get distracted too looking at her lips when she is on air reading news, but her eloquence, gesticulation, delivery and her costume consumes me more, but for others, it is different.

Relating my story to the woman whose pictures are scattered here, is that of beauty that dignifies the brain.

She is Natasha Akpoti, the Social Democratic Party, SDP’s Senatorial Candidate for Kogi Central Senatorial District, for the election that is coming on this Saturday.

Natasha Akpoti is that woman whom the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello would wish never existed, talk-more contesting for this election that has simply made her an already Public Figure before entering the Senate Chambers.

This Natasha of a woman is flamboyantly and extravagantly beautiful that I have began to ask questions if this woman will not set the Senate Chambers on fire before the expiration of her Four-Year tenure?

Imagine whoever the Senate President is after the inauguration telling Natasha Akpoti to either seat down while she is making a presentation or stopping her from speaking for a long time after accusing her of distracting all the male members of the Senate and maybe, intimidating the female ones with her beauty.

She is beautiful oooo, and I hear she has brains too, but her ability to represent well, and not carry her beauty on her head is another thing entirely.

Well, there is nothing wrong with being beautiful, but some of us see and know how these women who believe they are beautiful behave, especially with their very empty brains everywhere.

I pray she wins this election, so she can go represent beauty and brain like my darling friend and sister is doing on TV, demystifying the very bad impressions people have about women who are as beautiful as Natasha Akpoti.

By the way, WHY WON’T YAHAYA BELLO LEAVE THIS WOMAN ALONE SEF? Nah by force?
