The Deputy Governor of
Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, was amongst the very first prominent sons on
Imo State who had, immediately the governorship election results in Imo State
was announced, reached out to the winner, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha to congratulate
him over his win at the polls.
His congratulatory
message, Eze Madumere wrote; “I heartily felicitate with you on your hard
earned victory at the just concluded 2019 Imo governorship election. It is
victory for Imo people and it is my victory and victory for many other
patriotic Imolites who collectively made sacrifices to liberate the state from
the hand of the oppressor and traducer of our people. Once again,
congratulations!”
In his response, Hon.
Ihedioha thanked Madumere for his steadfastness and zeal in helping the
liberation of Imo State from the hands of those who had mortgaged the state
into family enterprise, while giving him huge credit as the ambassador for the
victory Imo has just witnessed.
