The
governorship candidate of United Democratic Party, Mazi ('Dr) Sam Uche
Anyamele, has congratulated Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his emergence as the
governor-elect of Lagos state.
Sanwo-Olu
of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was declared winner of the governorship
election with 739, 445 votes.
Anyamele,
who is among the 45 governorship candidates who slugged it out with Sanwo-Olu,
praised the APC candidate for the way the team BOS strategized a pragmatic
approach of campaigning during the elections.
Mazi
Anyamele, who is currently the Vice Chairman of the Alumni Association of the
University of Lagos, UNILAG, Lagos branch, said he's excited that Sanwo-Olu, a
member of the UNILAG Alunmi, will be the next governor of Lagos.
He
also commended the governor-elect on his development agenda for the state,
which he says is in sync with his own program for the state.
Anyamele
said since Sanwo-Olu has promised to run an all inclusive government, that he's
willing to work with him if called upon to serve.
