Imo State Incoming Gov., Ihedioha, Inaugurates “TRANSITION TECHNICAL COMMITTEE”, Calls For Memoranda.

Imo State Governor-Elect, Emeka Ihedioha.

In keeping with his campaign promise of establishing a transparent and accountable government that is responsive to the needs of the citizens of our State, and committed to implementing a policy agenda that provides a steep change in the livelihood of our people, the Governor-Elect of Imo State Rt. Hon. Chukwuemeka Ihedioha, recently inaugurated a Transition Technical Committee to aid a smooth handover from the Owelle Rochas Okorocha administration, and chart a course for the successful take-off the incoming government.


Terms of Reference: 
The Transition Technical Committee shall focus on assisting in the articulation of strategic plan for the Administration; drawing directly from the manifesto and campaign agenda of the Governor-elect. It will also advise on the appropriate implementation framework to adopt and set the agenda and targets for the short and long terms, so that the government when fully formed will have a course. 

Specifically, the key focus areas of the Transition Technical Committee are as follows: 

• Education and Human Capital Development 
• Healthcare
• Finance
• Integrated Infrastructure Development
• Good Governance
• Projects & Contracts Review
• Agriculture, Commerce and Industries Development
• Wealth & Job Creation
• Youth Development and Empowerment
• Tourism and Hospitality Development
• Talent and Opportunities
• Security
• Owerri Masterplan
• Diaspora Initiatives

To ensure the development of a robust plan for the State, the committee hereby invites memoranda from the general public, particularly, Imo State citizens who may have information, ideas, and solutions relevant to the aforementioned areas.

The Governor-elect, believes that by submitting their memoranda the people are helping to shape the Agenda for the New Government and empowering themselves to be agents of the Good Governance he promised. 

All memoranda are private and will be treated with utmost confidentiality.

Please send in your contributions and submissions through email to: memorandum@imottc.org or through upload at www.imottc.org or through drop-off at: Imo TTC Secretariat, No 18 Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu Avenue, off 4040 roundabout, New Owerri, Owerri Imo State.

The memorandum should be submitted in PDF format and organized in the following structure: 
- Name of Specific matter of interest, e.g. roads, healthcare, education, etc.
- Introduction and background
- Details on the Issues/Problems
- Revelations or Findings or Considerations
- Recommendations/Way Forward
- Proposed Quick Wins.
