Former Minister of
Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has been bestowed with another Doctorate
Degree by the prestigious Tel Aviv University for her work on Economic
Development, Poverty Alleviation, Transparency and Inclusion.
The very elated Okonjo
said that she is very happy to have so recognized, but that all she did and has
done over the years is, do her work as a professional without seeking to be recognized
by anyone.
In attendance were the
Chairman, Board of Governors TAU, Dr. Jacob Frenkel, President TAU, Prof Joseph
Klafter and fellow honorees including Former Chair of the Federal Reserve Janet
Yellen, Chair UBS and former Chair ECB and Bundesbank Dr Axel Weber.
