Sure
this piece of news will give certain people palpitations of the heart, as
Traditional Heads from communities in KOGI Central today, endorsed the governor
of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello to re-contest for a second term.
To
the traditional rulers, the administration of Yahaya Bello deserves a 2nd term
to help build on the current development the state has recorded.
According
to the Ohi of Okengwe, Alhaji Abdulrahim Yusuf, the administration of Yahaya
Bello has restored peace in Kogi State and under his leadership, the
traditional institutions have been made to perform their responsibilities with
needed government support.
The
Ohi said that he is now proud to be a traditional ruler as he and his
colleagues are treated with respect and dignity than ever before, and who
wouldn’t want the continuation of a governor who knows what respect for
tradition and traditional institutions means.
The
delegation of traditional rulers which comprised the Ohinoyi of Ebira, HRH
Alhaji Ado Ibrahim led by the Ohi of Okengwe, HRH Alh Yusuf. A Yakub were
joined by women Associations, youth bodies, market women and others from the
fifty seven wards in kogi Central to applaud Governor Bello and pledge their
total support for his reelection bid.
