BOLA TINUBU to PRESIDENT BUHARI: If You Appoint Ambode In Your Government, I Will Leave APC For You.

Buhari, Tinubu & Ambode.

There seem to be no reconciliation between the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his former political son and former Governor of LAGOS State, Akinwunmi Ambode, as the former has come out to clearly draw the political lines between them with his order to the President, Muhammadu Buhari not to think, talk-more appoint the former governor a Minister in his government.

Infact, information has it that it was when the president came to commission some of the UNCOMPLETED PROJECTS of the former governor in Lagos as his administration was winding down, letting political tongues wang, that it became obvious, that the president would replace former Minister of Power, Housing and Works, another former governor of Lagos, Babatunde Raji Fashola, with Ambode, in his bid to spite Tinubu and his political friends in Lagos.

The Governor emeritus of Lagos State, is not having any of these and had to remove the hand of the monkey fast, before the gossips turn to reality in his very presence.

According to information reaching “Precious Eze’s Blog”, the very bitter Tinubu had to send words across to the president to ward him against appointing, like he did Fashola in 2015 against his (Tinubu’s) wish, Akinwunmi Ambode or he will resign his membership of the APC and leave the party for them.

The information had it that Tinubu sited how Ambode tried to destroy the party in Lagos and such a person should not be allowed at the federal level.

Another thing Bola Tinubu fear most about appointing Ambode Minister, is that such an appointment will empower him politically and give him a lot of relevance, connections with people like Nair El’Rufai of Kaduna State and such alliance would see to the ouster of Tinubu’s political influence across the country.

We all will stay calm and watch how these play out.
