ABIODUN FATOYINBO AND THE RAPE ALLEGATIONS By Joi John.

An allegation of RAPE is a serious offense and must not be swept under the carpet. I commend Busola Dakolo for mustering up the courage to step forward. It takes a lot of guts to do so. Her husband is a celebrated figure and this could not be for the fame. If anything, Busola seems prepared to face and battle the stigma. She has spoken her truth. It is up to Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo to counter convincingly erasing all doubt. The “robust response” on the church letter head did not fly for me.

While I am of the opinion that it is NOT IN OUR PLACE TO JUDGE, this particular cup runneth over. The accusing fingers are just too many to be ignored. At this point, this matter has to be addressed. Where are the board members of COZA?

If you have all been quiet over the years, it is time to step into the boardroom and do the needful.  I also expect ACTION from the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria. Not just talk. Just like priests are unfrocked, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo should be denied the privilege of using the pulpit to preach anything. He should just step aside till he is exonerated on all fronts.

Let me also add that this is a litmus test for the Inspector General of Police and of course, ultimately, the judiciary which is said to be the last hope of the common man.

I rest my pen. Thank you for reading.
