The
Chairman of Greater Delta Foundation and the gubernatorial candidate of the
Progressive People’s Alliance (PPA), in Delta State during the last elections,
Dr. O'Diakpo Obire has congratulated prominent lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria,
SAN, Festus Keyamo, on his nomination by President Muhammadu Buhari as a
Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Dr.
O'Diakpo Obire expressed absolute confidence in the capacity of the legal
luminary to deliver on the assignment, given his competence, character,
pedigree, integrity and credentials as an uncommon social crusader.
Obire,
in a statement signed and released on Thursday by his Media Aide, Comrade Musa
O'Karo Ugasa, urged Chief Festus Keyamo, SAN to discharge his statutory duties
diligently, "to contribute positively to national development and advance
the frontiers of good governance in support of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Next
Level goals”.
“Please
accept my congratulations on your nomination as a Minister of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria. Your nomination is a testament to your commitment of your
vision of good governance and sustainable development for our dear country.
Having known and related with you over the years, I’m convinced that your
performance in office will be the new yardstick to measure effectiveness in public
office. I wish you well in your new national assignment”, the statement
concluded.
