I
have been wondering as what the rationale for putting Godswill Akpabio and
Festus Keyamo in one Ministry, as Minister and Minister-of-State in the
Niger-Delta Ministry was?
The
two men have a history together and sure don’t know how they will work together
without their egos clashing on a regular basis?
Festus
Keyamo was the EFCC counsel when Godswill Akpabio was still a member of the
People’s Democratic Party, PDP and led his prosecution and arraignment then,
till ALL THE SINS OF AKPABIO WHICH ARE MANY WERE WASHED AND FORGIVEN ON HIS
JOINING THE APC.
Keyamo
didn’t hide his total and complete disdain for Akpabio one bit and used every
opportunity at his disposal, and in his bid to please his paymasters then, to
berate and call him all sorts of names, to prove the fact that Akpabio WAS A
THIEF, even without being convicted of any crime whatsoever and today, they
both are joint ministers in the same ministry?
What
I see happening is, each, not trusting and setting traps for each other, or you
think Akpabio would forget all Keyamo did and said against him and allow him
the liberty he would require to gather fresh evidences against him?
They
both will continuously be watching their backs against the other, but trust me,
while Akpabio would be careful not to be caught RED HANDED by Keyamo, Keyamo on
the other hand will watch his own back forever so Akpabio doesn’t get anything
to use against in other not to be on the same level with him.
It
is said that when your farm crops keeps being stolen and you know who the thief
is, when next you farm, call the thief and hand over the watching of the farm
to him and not a leaf will disappear.
HOW
CAN THE SINNER AND THE SAINT WORK TOGETHER UNLESS THEY BOTH AGREE?
