The
governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun is, on behalf of the Government and
the good people of Ogun State, felicitating with the doyen of Accounting in
Nigeria, Mr. Akintola Williams as he turns 100.
The
governor through his Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Momorin, says that the age of
100 for Mr. Williams is no doubt a landmark achievement for a man who pioneered
forensic auditing and has remained the reference point in the practice of accounting
n Nigeria, saying that the state is proud of his achievements, leadership and
exemplary transparency in all spheres of life.

ABIODUN SAYS: You are a pride to Nigeria and a leading light among
professionals. You have been a leader, teacher and mentor of prodigious hues
and shall ever be referenced in Accounting practice in the country and across
Africa.
Your
long healthy life attests to your disciplined lifestyle, spartan disposition
and uncommon commitment to high moral standards. It is the prayer of the
people of Ogun State, that the Almighty God stands for, by and with you, in the
years ahead and continues to grant you good health till the very end.
