The
Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello has poured encomium on one of the Distinguished
Senators from the state, Senator Smart Adeyemi as he celebrated his 59 years
birthday.
The
Governor’s message to the celebrant was conveyed through a press statement by
his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Mohammed.
Describing
the two-term Senator who represented Kogi West in the senate chambers as a
humble politician, the Governor Bello says he is one who had fervently made the
State positive interest his priority.
The
Governor noted that the distinguished senator have helped even within his
capacity to facilitate developmental initiatives in the State in support of the
dreams and aspirations of the New Direction Government.
YAHAYA
BELLO SAYS: Smart Adeyemi is a loyal party man who, despite being on the other
side before he joined the All Progressive Congress, the APC, played very crucial
roles in the victory of the Party in the last elections.
While
thanking the Senator for the kind support he has offered, Governor Bello
reassured him of his commitment to ensure that his stolen Senatorial mandate
was recovered as he would be of immense benefit for his people at such level.
