UNUSUAL PRAISE 2019: The Catholic Church Of Divine Mercy, Lekki Demystifies The Worship Of God Through "PRAISE".

"PRAISE" is one of the most powerful instruments through which creations reach the heart of heaven, but the major challenge against this particular instrument is how to connect and use it judiciously. But, for people who has over time, discovered the best way to use "PRAISE" to connect God, it has worked wonders and changed situations.


The Catholic Church of Divine Mercy, Lekki, Lagos, seem to have, first, before others, discovered, how not to stay on cues to heaven for too long, through an annual programme tagged, "UNUSUAL PRAISE", a gathering of the children of God together in an atmosphere that connects attendees to God and Heaven alone.

"Unusual Praise" has over the years, removed obstacles, shame, brought deliverance, healing, repentance and salvation to people who ordinarily would not have had opportunities for repentance from sin, after attending the programme, where God is praised undilutedly, bringing down heaven to man.

This years edition with the theme, "Declaring The Glory Of The Lord Amongst The Nations", has again proven to be the first and best end of the Christian programmes in Lagos that is all encompassing, celebrating not only God, but helping to raise generations of Godly businessmen and women, with empowerment project of the church geared towards helping Nigeria get rid of unemployed people, and help others become employers of labour.

Headlined this year by quintessential gospel artist, Nathaniel Bassey, "Unusual Praise 2019", according to the Parish Priest of the Catholic Church of Divine Mercy, Lekki, Monsignor Pascal Nwaezeapu, is not only for thanksgiving, but as a tool for the evangelism of the word of God, because the church is primarily established for mission and evangelism.

Speaking further, the Headliner of the 2019 edition of the praise event, Nathaniel Bassey said that the reason why we should praise God through programmes such as the "Unusual Praise" is for the reason that praise deals with God's greatness. The only response to the greatness of God is praise, as our sacrifices in the new testament is praise and it is the only duty of man to God.

Every opportunity to worship God must be taken seriously, Nathaniel Bassey says, adding that when leading in worship, the audience of that worship is not the people who gather, but God alone, as the instrument of worship should neither be the trumpet nor the voice, but the heart of the Children of God.
