A First Time House Of Reps Member, "Ja'afaru Iliyasu" Dies After Returning From Lagos.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila and the entire House of Representatives are mourning the death of their colleague, late Hon. Ja'afaru Iliyasu, who died Sunday night in his sleep, after he had returned from a trip in Lagos.


In a condolence visit, the Speaker, Gbajabiamila expressed shocked over the demise of Hon. Iliyasu, saying that his late colleague was a complete gentleman and a determined lawmaker who wanted to make his mark in the service of his fatherland.

Gbajabiamila says: "I must say that i am saddened and pained just like my other colleagues over his death and I pray the Almighty Allah grants him Jannatul Firdaus as his final abode.

The late Hon. Iliyasu represented Magama/Rijau Federal Constituency and was amongst the new members sworn in at the inception of this National Assembly.
