BAYELSA ELECTION: WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED TO THE GOVERNOR OF BAYELSA STATE, SERIAKE DICKSON?

Jonathan, Dickson, Alaibe & Mama Pee.

Former Managing Director of the Niger-Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Mr. Timi Alaibe was the choice governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Bayelsa State, for the last election that ORCHESTRATEDLY was won by the APC candidate, David Lyon.

Now, the gist was that the Governor, the very amiable SERIAKE Dickson stood his grounds against his own party in the state, and against elders of the party, including former President Goodluck Jonathan, and his wife, OUR VERY OWN, Patience Jonathan, whom he was accused of threatening to retire permanently from politics and here is the result of that threat.

Truth is, I have met the governor of Bayelsa State, eaten on the same table with him, discussed with him, and fell in love with him person, his personality and that of his wife, but everyone I had spoken with after that election in the state had same opinion about his person.

He is proud, he is arrogant and very disrespectful, and I am like, same man I met and ate with? I have not come to terms with all these words being used to describe the Governor of Bayelsa State, but coming from very highly placed people from the Niger Delta, especially from Bayelsa, I don’t know what to believe.

One of those I spoke with told me that if the Governor had allowed Timi Alaibe to fly the flag of the PDP, even APC followers would have voted massively for the PDP, with the Governor retaining his ambition of going to the Senate and the JONATHANS would not have negotiated their freedom with the situation they found themselves in and had to RETIRE HIM INSTEAD.

But I am worried as to why the Governor had to look Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, in the face and threaten them with retirement, when all powers, according to some of the preachings I had heard him admonish his people with, belongs to God alone?

I mean, one can simply imagine how pained MAMA PEE and her husband would have felt, that they had to sell off and who would blame them or anyone for that matter, if your own kinsman, if true, had plans to put you on a political wheelchair?

WOULD ANYONE NOT REMEMBER THE BIBLE SAYING THAT GOD EXULTED THE HUMBLE, AND BRINGS DOWN THE PROUD?

Could this have been the case in Bayelsa State?
