The
lawmaker representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives,
Idirisu Mohammadu Lawal has
congratulated his state Governor, Yahaya Bello of Kogi State on the New Year
celebrations, wishing him more accomplishments as he continues to pilot the
affairs of the state and a very successful swearing in event for his second
term on the 27th of January.
Speaking
to Newsmen recently, Idirisu wished Governor Yahaya Bello a happy and a more
rewarding new year, praying God to grant him the enablement to accomplish his
good intent for the people of Kogi State.
He used
the opportunity to felicitate with his people of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency
and Kogi State in general the best of the year, urging them to be patient and
be positive, assuring them of better 2020.
In his
words: "I wish to felicitate with my Governor, His Excellency, Yahaya
Bello on the New Year. I wish him happy and a more accomplishment in the New
year also wish the good people of Ajaokuta and Kogi State in general a very
prosperous New year. I urge them to be patient and support our youthful
governor. I can assure them of greater dividends in the present dispensation.
"On
their mandate to me to represent them at the National Assembly, I will not fail
them. I will continue to pursue agenda that will benefit them and improve their
living standards”.
