The late Senator who represented Imo North in the Nigerian
Senate, Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu will be buried on the February 21st
in his hometowm, Umuihi, Ihitte Uboma Local Government Area, in Imo State, says
his family members.
This news was released on Wednesday and made available to the
press, signed by one Mr. Nnadozie Uwajumogu.
According to him, "In line with the tradition of his
community, the family, extended family, in-laws and close friends met severally
to consider a suitable date for the burial of the Distinguished Senator
Benjamin Chukwuemeka Uwajumogu" and after "After due consultation,
the family wishes to announce that the burial of Distinguished Senator Benjamin
C. Uwajumogu will hold on Friday, February 21, 2020 @ his country home, Umuihi,
Ihitte Uboma LGA, Imo State."
"Additionally, a broad based Burial Committee has been
constituted under the Chairmanship of Hon. Acho Obioma and charged with the
planning, preparation and execution of the burial."
"The family of Distinguished Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu
wishes to thank everyone who has comforted the family in this trying
moments."
"May the Soul of Distinguished Senator Benjamin
Chukwuemeka Uwajumogu* rest in Peace... Amen."
