The
Senator representing the East Senatorial District in Lagos State, Senator Bayo
Osinowo, popularly called “Pepperito” by his political followers, has in his
usual mannerism of catering for the welfare of his people, donated the sum of
30million Naira to the people in his zone to cushion the effect of the pandemic,
Coronavirus.
The
Senator made this known as part of plans to ease the pains of the people in all
the sixteen Local Government Areas, LGAs and Local Council Development Areas,
LCDAs in his zone.
According
to him, the sharing would be supervised by the House of Assembly Members in
each Local Government together with the Local Government Chairmen, LGA party
Chairmen and Team Pepper Coordinators across the zone.
He
assured that all the stakeholders in the zone would be adequately carried
along.
Furthermore, Senator Osinowo said that all the league of Imams, Christian Leaders, CDCs, CDAs, market men and women, NURTW members, Artisans, should all be part of the beneficiaries of the largess, while assuring that the Covid-19 pandemic would surely pass as he enjoined his constituents to adhere to all the social programs pushed out by all the government agencies in Abuja and Lagos State to make sure that people are safe.
According
to him, the Lagos East Senatorial District must be safe and we are to ensure
that the lives of my constituents are safeguarded in this perilous time by
telling them to do what is right.
Social
Distancing, washing of hands regularly with soap and water for atleast 20
seconds at intervals, not being in any gathering of more than 20 people, sneezing
and disposing properly, and every other thing they have been advised to adhere
to.
