The worship and service of God is unarguably, a very personal venture which we are all entitled to undertake any which way we deem fit, as private as we want it and on what platform we desire, and so it was for Nollywood actor, Adunni Ade, who seem to have retraced herself back to where she had always wanted to be, Islam.

Adunni Ade has recently expressed excitements over her ability to return to Islam after being a Christian for years and attending many churches which according to her, included, The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Mountain of Fire and Miracles and others.

She said she was born to a Muslim father and a Christian mother. Her stepmother is also a Christian. She said she was raised a Muslim but her father gave them the free will to choose whatever religion they wanted and as an adult, she attended a number of churches but said she chose to return to Islam in 2016.

According to her, since returning to Islam, she feels “more filfilled*”, “happier”, and has received more blessings, even as her first son now practices Islam.
