COVID-19: UBA Debunks News Of Staff Testing Positive To Coronavirus, Says It Is A Complete Falsehood.

UBA Office.
The Management of the United Bank for Africa, UBA Group, has debunked as total falsehood, the news circulating on some blogs that more than 70 members of staff of the bank have tested positive to Coronavirus.

Speaking to "Precious Eze's Blog" midnight of 6th of May, 2020, an Executive of the bank who spoke to use says that the news has no iota of truth in it, as no staff of the bank has Covid-19 or have tested positive the the virus.

As a responsible bank, he continued, we would be the first to issue a statement if any of our staff in any of our branches across Africa have Coronavirus and claiming that we have 70 with the virus is for lack of a better word, wicked.

Where are these staff of UBA with the virus, which of the branches, what are their names and, are they going to work to attend to our most valued customers? These are questions we would like those circulating the story to answer.

The public should therefore disregard and treat as "FAKE NEWS", this information pushed out with the intention of making worse, an already bad situation, which UBA, in collaboration with corporate Nigeria, is working very hard to salvage.
