SAD: Yoruba Nollywood Actor, Temitayo Phillips Stabs Neighbour, A Staff Of Access Bank , To Death.

A Yoruba actor simply identified as Temitayo Phillips Ogunbusola, has been arrested by the operatives of the Nigerian Police for stabbing his neighbor, Oladotun Johnson Opeyemi, an access bank staff, to death over electricity bill, in his quarters in Lagos.

It was gathered that the incident happened on Saturday 17th, May 2020, at their home located at No. 4, Sebil Kazeem, Cele-Igbe, Ikotun, Lagos.

Recounting how it all started, Banjo Lateef, a fellow neighbor, said:

“I am in charge of PHCN bill for the compound and I shared the bill for April to everyone in the house and we agreed that we were going to deposit some money to avoid being disconnected.

The deceased, Temi was owing N21,500 and the neighbors suggested that his light be cut off, but I pleaded that they should allow me talk to him to see if he would deposit some money. I went to his apartment with another tenant, Ola, knocked twice on his door, he came out in anger and bashed us for knocking on his door. He said, ‘Are you mad? Are you crazy? Are you a police officer?.’

Lagos state police spokesman, Bala Elkana confirmed the incident, adding that the murder weapon was recovered by homicide detectives.
