The
National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed
Tinubu has, in his bid to strengthen the party and stop internal crisis and through
the instrumentality of the Governor’s Advisory Committee (GAC), banned all other
groups existing within the party.
According to “The Gazelle News.com”, the decision was taken at the GAC meeting presided over by the former Governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu himself at a meeting which took place, today, Tuesday, 9 June, 2020 at his residence on Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi.
This medium learnt that prominent among the groups banned are the two major political blocs that formed the party in the state, Justice Forum and the Mandate Groups, with the GAC warning that any member of the party that flouts the order will be heavily sanctioned.
