The Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has shown the milk of
human kindness flowing through him as he releases the sum of N10m for the
burial of the victims of the recent armed robbery attack in the Yagba East
Local Government Area of the state.
This
was made known by the state Deputy Governor, Edward Onoja via Twitter on
Monday.
The
Deputy Governor wrote: “Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has
released the sum of 10 million naira to support the burial rites of the slain
victims of the unfortunate Isanlu robbery attack which claimed about 10 lives,”
he wrote.
The
funds according to him will be used to support the families of about seven
security personnel on duty at the Isanlu branch of First Bank of Nigeria
Limited and some passers-by who lost their live during the attack.
To say the least, this is one of the most humane treatments
anyone can enjoy in death, QUALITY BURIAL, even for some who died on the cause
of duty.
