The appointment which takes immediate effect was approved today and he is supposed to resume as soon as he can.
Until recently, Gbenga Ashafa represented Lagos East at the upper legislative chambers for he lost the primaries of the APC to now late Senator Bayo Osinowo.
Congratulations would be in order.
