Big Brother Naija 2nd runner-up, Nengi Rebecca Hompson was about to enjoy the best of celebrations amongst her fellow housemates as the Bayelsa State Government was to host her to a home coming events, which should have been her welcome back party after going into the lions and coming out victorious without soiling her name and the image of the Government.

NENGI HOME COMING as she tagged it, was to be specially hosted by the Governor of the state, His Excellency, Douye Dri, who would have on ground to have his daughter back home after a long sojourn in the Big Brother house where she distinguished herself, demystifying all stereotypes to stand tall as a role model of self control and dignity.

Nengi stood tall with her head held high as a woman whose pedigree was the foundation on which her name and image stand, but that will not be anymore as she had had to cancel to focus on what is more important to her right now, which is the #ENDSARS protest that is ongoing.

The date of the Home-Coming should have been  the 16th of October, 2020.

Speaking on this new development, Nengi wrote: "After much deliberations, I and my team have decided to reschedule the Bayelsa State home coming organized by the state government for me. At a time such as this, it is important we channel our focus to more important activities being the #EndSARS and #End Police Brutality protest.
