The dramas in Edo State seem not yet over as the Speaker of the Edo House of Assembly, Hon. Francis Okiye, has been impeached.
Hon. Okiye’s impeachment followed a motion by the Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Henry Okhurobo who moved for his impeachment as the house resumed plenary.
Okiye’s
impeachment letter was signed by nine out
of the 10-members who were present at the brief sitting on Monday, where Hon.
Marcus Onobhu from Esan West constituency was elected speaker.
