The Ondo State Government has raised alarm over an alleged plot to dethrone the State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, and high government officials in the state.
According to Mr. Donald Ojogo, the commissioner of information who stated on Sunday that unknown individuals plot to dethroned the governor of Ondo state.
According to reports from the Punch, The commissioner for information and orientation Donald Ojogo stated on Sunday that, “A grand plot to blackmail and discredit Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, and targeted senior government officials is in the offing and he motive of those behind this heinous plot is to distract the administration as it commences the aggregation of the modest achievement within the first 100 days of the governor’s second term.
Already,
a few of such fake documents have been fraudulent procured and sent to selected
Media houses in line with the intent of the sponsor of this devious act”, as according
to the statement of Mr. Donald above, unidentified Individuals are trying to
blackmail the state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, and senior government officials
in the state.
He stated that the unidentified individuals presented fake documents to different media houses to dethrone Rotimi Akeredolu and senior government officials.
