There were rumours about the death of former head of state, General Ibrahim Bademosi Babangiga popularly called IBB today and one of his his Media Aides. Responded to this.
Mahmud Abdullahi says that the that former Military President Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB) is not dead as widely speculated on Thursday morning as according to him, his death cannot be hidden in the north or anywhere around Nigeria.
According to him, if the former President were dead, the news would neither be hidden and cannot be hidden, saying that it’s high time people stopped spreading false information, stressing if Babangida were dead, the news would not be hidden from anyone.
Another
of his Aides, Prince Kassim Afegbua was called before this story to ascertain
the veracity of the news item but he did not pick his call nor returned it, but
sources say Babangida is hale and hearty.
